OSO technology · Bluetooth audio

Hear it. Say it.
Keep both sides.

Your voice and the audio you hear, brought together. OSO AI Earbuds combine microphone input and Bluetooth playback into one audio stream for recording on your smartphone.

Dual-channel Bluetooth connection & recording

How it works

Two sources. One recording.

The earbuds handle the audio locally. Alongside the normal Bluetooth listening and calling paths, an additional stream carries the combined audio back to the recording app.

Inside the earbuds

Audio SoC

VEA units enhance microphone audio. The SoC combines it with Bluetooth playback into one recording stream.

Simplified functional diagram. The normal audio paths continue alongside the recording path; the combined recording is an additional stream.

A processor of its own

Small earbuds.
Built-in processing.

Like a vision SoC processes images inside a camera, an audio system-on-chip processes sound inside the earbuds. Its CPU, on-chip memory and integrated VEA units work together inside the earbuds. VEA (Voice Enhancement AI Algorithm) enhances microphone input, while the SoC manages audio processing, mixing and the additional recording stream.

01 / PROCESS

Mix at the source

VEA units enhance the microphone signal inside the audio SoC. The enhanced voice and received playback are then combined before the recording stream reaches your phone.

02 / CONNECT

Keep everyday listening

The earbuds still work as traditional Bluetooth earbuds for listening and calls, with an additional path for recording.

03 / RECORD

Save on your phone

The smartphone app receives the combined stream and records it. On-chip memory supports processing; it is separate from where your recording is saved.

A few things
to know.

What does “dual-channel” mean here?

It refers to two audio sources: microphone input and Bluetooth playback. They are combined into one recording stream. It does not mean two separately editable tracks or connecting to two phones.

Does the mixing happen in the cloud?

No. The audio SoC combines the sources inside the earbuds. The phone app receives the resulting stream for recording.

Can it record every app or call?

Recording availability depends on the phone, operating system, app and supported audio mode. The playback source is audio actually delivered to the earbuds over Bluetooth; this is not unrestricted access to every sound on your phone.
