SOC 2 compliance is a security framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) that defines how organizations, particularly cloud-based service providers, should manage customer data based on five trust service criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. It ensures that companies have the necessary internal controls to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access, maintain system reliability, process data accurately, and handle personal data responsibly in line with privacy regulations. There are two types of SOC 2 reports—Type I, which assesses the design of controls at a specific point in time, and Type II, which evaluates the effectiveness of these controls over a period of time. Achieving SOC 2 compliance demonstrates a company’s commitment to data protection and builds trust with clients and partners by reducing the risk of data breaches and unauthorized disclosures.

Yes, normal phone calls can be recorded when you use the earbuds. Phone calls are recorded at the audio source level with the highest quality.

If you can pair the earbuds with your phone and use them to conduct an Amazon Chime call, you should have no issues recording the conversation through our app.

However, if you conduct the Chime call on a desktop, connecting the earbuds to your computer or laptop for recording is not supported at the moment. Only Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and Zoom calls can be recorded using our desktop plugin.

Yes, the earbuds record all sounds and voices that pass through the earbuds and microphone at the source level with high-definition quality. This is a key difference between our product and other AI recording devices.

Our AI model is optimized for a wide range of uses, including meetings, conferences, seminars, and classes. It’s built to enhance productivity by transcribing, summarizing, and assisting with tasks effectively in both professional and academic settings.

Local Recording: Audio saved on your phone is unlimited.

AI Transcription: Minutes are based on the actual duration of processed audio. Silence within recordings naturally reduces the total length, but we don’t skip silence or count word counts separately.

For repetitive tasks, such as generating similar emails with minor changes, the AI usage would depend on the specific task duration and transcription processing.

Foundation AI Plan: Includes 300 minutes per month and automatically resets as long as you own OSO. Ideal for occasional users.

Premium AI Plan: Offers significantly higher transcription limits, equating to over 33 meetings or long sessions per month, at less than $9/month. Perfect for professionals and frequent users.

To put it into perspective, the cost of the Premium AI Plan is comparable to two Starbucks drinks, providing at least 5 hours of saved time monthly.
